Dan Lancellotti has been associated with the financial services industry for his entire career with a focus on process automation. As alternative investments became more popular, Dan turned his attention to businesses that assist asset managers with identifying and communicating with investors. Given the advent of social networking, Dan's focus today is on technologies that streamline the communication that takes place in business. Dan graduated from Brown University with a BS in Applied Math/Economics.
The elder Dan Lancellotti was born in Providence, RI in 1920, where he excelled in all major sports, especially tennis. He was a member of the United States’ Junior Davis Cup team and attended the University of Southern California on a tennis scholarship. Following a stint in the Army during WWII, he founded Lance Paper Box Co, in 1951. He was owner/operator of Lance Paper Box and GrayLance Corrugated Box eventually merging the two into Lance Box Co., Inc. and selling the entity to Thompson Paper Box Co. in 1986 whereupon he retired.
